ASIKO ODO LAWA – AYUBA LOKAN NI ILA ORUN ILE IBARAPA
By: Comrade Oluwafemi Ogunshola
I have seen many write ups, many grammars, many flyers. Truth be told, Com. Ayandele Ayuba has paid his dues starting from his days as FIBSA 001. Anyone close to him, or even from afar, would testify to his calmness. One distinctive thing I noticed about him is that his calmness is never a weakness. It is a calmness backed by confidence, understanding, and quiet strength. He does not make noise to prove a point, yet his actions always speak loudly. That kind of composure is rare, and it is the kind that sustains leadership, not just for a moment, but for a long time.
He understands leadership beyond theory. This is someone who has grown with the people, lived among the people, and truly feels what the people feel. He has spent all his life here with our people in Eruwa, and he has also explored our sisterhood town Lanlate, building connections and understanding the realities on ground. Ayuba is not disconnected from the grassroots. He is part of it. His exposure, including his educational journey through MAPOLY, has further shaped his thinking and broadened his vision. So when he speaks or acts, it comes from both experience and knowledge.
From his days in FIBSA where he coordinated students and drove meaningful impact, to his role as Special Assistant on Student Matters, and now as a Senior Legislative Aide, Ayuba has consistently shown growth and capacity. These are not just positions to decorate his profile. They are stages where he has proven loyalty, diligence, and effectiveness. He has worked behind the scenes and on the frontlines. He has learned governance from within and understands how to translate policies into real benefits for the people. This is the kind of person who does not need to be taught leadership from scratch.
At a time when we need a better head to lead Ibarapa East Local Government come later this year, Ayuba is an honest answer. Not by sentiment, but by track record. Calm, proactive, and productive. He is not the type to gamble with responsibility. He is focused, intentional, and always thinking ahead. Leadership is not about who shouts the loudest, but who can deliver the most, and Ayuba has shown repeatedly that he has what it takes to move Ibarapa East forward with purpose and stability.
So please, inform omo lagbaja to tell tamedo, from Isale Elesin to Isaba, to Oke African, down to Bareke, back to Anko Garage, through Sangote to Oke-Oba, to Sango, across New Eruwa, down to Oke Imale, Isale Togun, Itabo, Surulere and Oke Otun, that the message is one and clear -Ayuba lokan. No going back. This is not just a statement, it is a direction. The future we desire requires someone prepared and committed. Ayuba fits that description without stress. The time is now, the moment is clear, and the choice is simple.
E sope AYUBA LOKAN!
