Harmony Estate Celebrates End of Year, Lays Foundation For Community Centre, Honours Stakeholders

Harmony Estate Landlords and Ladies Association, Papa Idi Osan, Lalupon-Iworoad, Ibadan has marked the end of the year with a grand celebration.

The ceremony held on Saturday 25th January, 2025 also featured the foundation laying ceremony of its community centre.

Awards were equally presented to some outstanding personalities for their support and community development efforts.

Some of the recipients of the awards included the Chairman Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Oyedele Sikiru Sanda, Chairman Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamarudeen , Egbeda Vice Chairman and Ajorosun LCDA Political Head, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim, Egbeda Local Government Legislative Leader, DPO Iyana Offa Police Division, SP. Odede Sunday, a legal luminary Bar. Sina Olanyan and Baale of Idi Osan Baale Adeniji Sulaiman and Baale Adeleye with numerous Baales in Egbeda Local Government and Stakeholders in the neighborhood

Alh. Sakibu Saheed Oyedele, Chairman of Harmony Estate, expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders and guests who attended the ceremony.

"Your participation in these events meant a great deal to us, and we are thankful for the time you took to join us."

Alh Sakibu commended Hon. Sanda, Hon. Mudashiru and others for their generous donations towards the completion of the community hall project, describing his support as a testament to his commitment to the development of the community.

He said "The foundation laying ceremony of the community centre marked a significant milestone in the estate's journey towards providing a hub for community activities and social events."

According to him, the centre is expected to serve as a platform for fostering community bonding and social harmony, in line with the estate's vision of creating a vibrant and inclusive community.
