LG Poll: Com. Ayuba Engages Ibarapa East PDP Ward Chairmen, Unveils Grassroots-Driven Agenda

A chairmanship aspirant for Ibarapa East Local Government, Com. Ayandele Ayuba Ayobami, has intensified his grassroots consultations with a strategic meeting involving the ten PDP ward chairmen across the council area, where he formally presented his governance blueprint and outlined his development priorities.

During the engagement, Com. Ayuba positioned his ambition around inclusive leadership and participatory governance, stating that his administration, if elected will prioritise fairness, transparency, and equitable distribution of projects across all wards.

He stressed that no community or stakeholder group would be sidelined, noting that sustainable development can only be achieved when governance reflects the collective interests of the people.

According to him, his manifesto is designed to open up governance at the local level, ensuring that ward leaders, party stakeholders, and residents play active roles in shaping policies and programmes that directly impact their lives.

Speaking on behalf of the ward chairmen, the Chairman of Ward 6, Hon. Olufemi Adeseun, commended Ayuba’s preparedness and clarity of vision.

He described him as the only aspirant so far to present a detailed and structured roadmap, adding that such preparedness signals capacity for effective leadership.

Other party leaders, including Hon. Gbemileke Babatunde (Ward 3), Mr. Rasheed Ogundoyin (Ward 2), and Mr. Adediji (Ward 7), expressed confidence in Ayuba’s candidacy, pledging their support and describing him as a credible and dependable figure with the character required to lead.

The meeting also drew the presence of key political stakeholders and loyalists, including Hon. Bello Yusuf, Hon. Kunle Olaosegba, Mr. Shola Ojeniyi, and Ayandele Ademola, underscoring the growing support base behind his aspiration.

The engagement is seen as part of Com. Ayuba’s broader effort to consolidate party support and strengthen his grassroots appeal ahead of the forthcoming local government elections.
