Oke Family Expresses Deep Gratitude After Successful Burial of Deacon Julius Olufemi Oke
The family of late Deacon Julius Olufemi Oke has extended heartfelt appreciation to all individuals, institutions, religious bodies, and well-wishers who supported them during the funeral ceremonies held in honour of their beloved patriarch.
In a message titled "Words of Gratitude from Dcn Julius Olufemi Oke’s Family," the wife, children, and extended Oke family thanked friends, associates, and organizations for their overwhelming show of love before, during, and after the funeral, which took place on Wednesday, 3rd and Thursday, 4th December 2025 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
“We acknowledge your presence, gifts, donations, prayers, and support, all of which helped us honour our father and husband in a befitting manner. May your sacrifice of love be bountifully rewarded, and may you live to fulfil your divine destinies in Jesus' name,” the family said.
The family gave special recognition to several individuals and institutions who stood by them before , during and after the burial programme, including Bishop Francis Wale Oke and the Christ Life Family, the Christ Life Church, Agbowo, WAEC International and its national management, Christ Apostolic Grammar School Alumni, University of Ibadan Sultan Bello Hall, Oyo State College of Education Ila-Orangun Old Students, TESCOM Zone 2, Ibadan North East ANCOPPS, as well as members of the Ajani Oke, Oladele, and Dokun Olatunde families, among others.
Government officials and dignitaries such as Hon. Wasiu Olatubosun, Oyo State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, and Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola, Oyo State Commissioner for Education, were also acknowledged for their presence and support.
Describing the entire experience as one filled with love and honour, the Oke family concluded : "A mo loore o. Odun a jinna si ara won loruko Jesu Kristi."
The message was signed by the Committee of Friends on behalf of the family.
